Muay Lert Rit is a Thai form of martial art is taught and used by the commandos of the Royal Thai Army.
It is a style of fighting that originates from traditional Thai combat techniques tested on the battlefield (Muay Boran).
There was a choice but a very large portfolio of fighting techniques already available in different forms of fighting techniques and adapted for narrow, immediate and effective elimination match. Many of the techniques are either too narrow or selected directly from the Mai Mae (standard combat techniques) or from the Look Mai (advanced combat techniques). As with all military warfare techniques, the goal is root, put out of action with a final way the opponent immediately and effectively.
The basic principle of using all the weapons of the body, similar to traditional forms of Thai fighting like Muay Chaiya, the Korat, etc., but the way they challenged his opponent is different. From one side the attacker tries to surprise his opponent not to leave any possibility of defense (attack without warning) and to neutralize the enemy immediately, effectively and without delay even in the ground. The attacker uses all the hard parts of the body to minimize the risk of injuries such as elbows, knees, forehead, etc., avoiding the high kicks using only the low parts of the body (Tae Chieng Lan) or genitalia (Mak Tae Pa). It is a form of battle HIGHLY EFFECTIVE.
